Adding Listings from the Right Source

Hello everyone. In this guide, we'll walk you through the first step of our checklist: determining if you've added your listings from the correct source.
Before we begin, it's important to understand what this means. Ask yourself the following question:
Do you use a property management system (PMS) or a channel manager like Jesty, Hospitable, Logify, or any of the 100+ PMSs that Pricelabs connects with?
If the answer is yes, then you should add your listing to Pricelabs exclusively through your PMS, not directly through Airbnb or VRBO. Here's why:
The flow of data will be such that Pricelabs will push your rates and minimum stays to your PMS.
Your PMS will then push this information further to all your OTAs.
Therefore, the only connection you need to maintain is between Pricelabs and your PMS. This will keep things simple and prevent any potential issues.
However, if you do not use a PMS or a channel manager, which is completely fine, you should add your listings directly from Airbnb or VRBO.
If you have the same listing on Airbnb and VRBO, and you've added it from both accounts to Pricelabs, please ensure you map your listing. This involves:
Setting one listing as the parent listing and the other as the child listing.
Applying settings and customizations to the parent and child listings.
This not only saves time and effort but also money, as you don't have to pay for the same listing twice. You only pay full price for the parent listing, and each child listing costs just a dollar extra.
If you've done this correctly, we can proceed to the next step.
