In this guide, we will walk you through setting up minimum stay settings or stay restrictions for your listing. Follow these steps to customize your settings effectively.
Navigate to your listing and click on Edit Customizations.
Enable the Minimum Stay Settings under Stay Restrictions.
This tool analyzes your market and suggests settings based on common practices. It considers factors like booking frequency and duration.
Select Prefer Short Term or Prefer Midterm based on your preference.
Review the market data suggestions and apply them to your account.
Customize by unchecking or rechecking options as needed.
Set your default minimum stay for weekdays and weekends. For example, a three-night minimum stay requirement.
Optionally, change to Booking Value to set a minimum dollar amount for stays.
Adjust based on seasonal pricing to meet your minimum value.
Orphan gaps are unbooked days between reservations that don't meet your minimum stay requirements.
Allow bookings for the entire length of the gap.
Set specific rules for gaps, such as allowing bookings for gaps between two and three nights.
Stack rules for different gap lengths or booking windows.
Customize rules for last-minute bookings to increase occupancy.
Allow one-night stays for bookings within two days.
Set different rules for weekdays and weekends.
Adjust settings for bookings made further in advance.
Set longer stay restrictions for bookings made well in advance.
Increase minimum stay by one night after 90 days.
Set a four-night minimum for bookings six months in advance.
Stack rules for even longer advance bookings.
Once you have customized your settings to your satisfaction, click Save Changes to apply them to your listing.
By following these steps, you can effectively manage your minimum stay settings and optimize your listing for your market.
